PulmoBiomed’s focus is to provide clinicians and researchers a non-invasive means of sampling fluids (aerosolised liquids and gasses) from the deep lung, without contamination. Its solution avoids the need for invasive sampling such as bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), and eliminates the risk of contamination or infection inherent to sputum samples.
