Background
Initially a management trainee at HSBC Bank plc, I progressed into a commercial manager role, providing debt facilities to a portfolio of businesses. I moved to a corporate finance boutique and spent three years advising on small-cap M&A transactions and fund raising. I decided I wanted to be more involved and supportive post-transaction and therefore moved to an investor role at Mercia Ventures in 2018.
I have since moved to a portfolio focused role in 2023 and now focus on supporting value creation within the portfolio, particularly with B2B software businesses, helping them transition from seed to series A.
