I am on the lookout for founders with groundbreaking innovations that are gaining early traction and have ambitious plans for growth. With over a decade of experience working alongside founders to build successful businesses, I am dedicated to helping teams overcome the challenges that come with scaling up.
Background
My career has been dedicated to supporting early-stage companies through the scaling process. After graduating with a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham, I spent seven years working across Capital Markets at the London Stock Exchange where I advised ambitious private businesses on strategy, accessing capital and exit planning.
Following this, I then spent a couple of years working within the Ministry of Defence and government security agencies helping founders bring innovative new solutions to market. During this period, I also launched a DeepTech seed fund focused on defence and security, providing both strategic advice and financial support to emerging businesses.
In 2022, I joined Mercia Ventures. I concentrate on investments in the East and South East Midlands, continuing my passion for nurturing innovation and growth in the start-up ecosystem.
